DuraGal Clear

DuraGal Clear Square Hollow Sections (SHS) and Rectangular Hollow Sections (RHS) are high strength cold formed hollow sections that are hot dip galvanized to AS/NZS 4792:2006 and have a minimum avaerage coating mass of 100 grams per square metre applied to the interior and exterior of the sections.

DuraGal Clear sections are also prepared with a non-chromate passivation treatment which, when combined with appropriate pre-treatments, passes the permeability test specified in AS 4506:2005.

All DuraGal Clear sections are available as C450PLUS structural tube.  C450PLUS structural tube achieves the highest strength grade, C450L0, of AS/NZS 1163:2009, whilst maintaining the elongation and formability of C350L0, providing no loss of ductility or workability.

Black

Black Circular Hollow Sections (CHS) are high strength, cold formed hollow sections, coated with a mineral based finish that is easily removed by an alkali solution or kerosene.

Unless used for benign corrosion environments, the coating will need to be removed for further priming and top coating.  Black CHS can be fabricated using normal workshop techniques and standard pre-treatment processes will easily prepare the product prior to galvanizing.

All DuraPrimed sections are available as C450PLUS structural tube.  C450PLUS structural tube achieves the highest strength grade, C450L0, of AS/NZS 1163, whilst maintaining the elongation and formability of C350L0, providing no loss of ductility or workability.
